This was 4 great Mail Order Bride stories! It gives you moments of laughter, some tears, and some suspense. It introduces you to the town folk and welcomes you to Sherwood, if only for awhile. But when you are done, you leave having that "I'm glad I read this series". Thank you Emily Woods for your hard work.
This is a wonderful collection of 4 feel good novellas. Ideal for when you want to relax with a smile on your face and a sigh at another happily ever after. A collection so clean romance, ideal for all who loves a happy ending.
I wish that some of these novellas were longer, as I really liked the characters and hoped to spend a bit more time with them. I loved this collection and will be on the lookout for more books by Emily Woods.

Emily Woods is a prolific author of mail order brides - not sure how she is able to continue writing book after book yet each one so different from the others. I love her books and always anxiously wait forward to when her new ones are released.. This series, The Sherwood Mail Order Brides, was very enjoyable. I couldn't put my down until I read the last book (needless to say, dinner was late). I find myself getting anxious to get to the end of each book to find out what the future holds for each couple.
There was a forth book in the box set, Pearl of the West, that is book 1 in a new series Emily Woods is writing. I look forward to the books that follow!

This is a collection of four wonderful western, romance short stories. The first three stories are about the women who come to Sherwood, Texas, as mail order brides Millie, Alice, and Hazel. The fourth is book 1 of the “Mail Order Brides of Gold Creek” series with Pearl. I can honestly say I enjoyed each and every one of these stories. Millie finds love with cowboy Jay Wilson, but only after a misunderstanding and some miscommunication. Alice and her lawman James have some adjustments to make as they get to know each other and fall in love. Hazel gets to Sherwood, only to find her groom-to-be is deceased. However, she finds a wonderful family to live with and in the process she finds the man she falls in love with. In Pearl’s story, she travels across the country, only to find that the man she fell in love with through his letters, knows nothing about her. Charles’ employers/friends wrote the letters. Pearl and Charles have a hard time with the situation, but finally come to know and love each other. I would recommend these stories to everyone. I received a free copy of this book and this is my honest review.
Stories were well thought out and written. Really enjoyed them all
Sweet short stories of a time long past but yet intriguing in today's world.
